Meta and Startupbootcamp Launch Llama Design Drive 2025

Startupbootcamp, Rainmaking's global accelerator network, has partnered with Meta for the second year running to launch the Llama Design Drive 2025 - a three-month programme supporting early-stage founders building AI agents across the MENA region.

The programme gives startups access to Meta's open-source Llama models, technical mentorship from Meta's engineering teams, business development support, and up to US$25,000 in AWS compute credits. Participants may also be fast-tracked into Meta's global ecosystem for additional funding, partnerships, and scaling support.

The partnership builds on Startupbootcamp's deep track record of designing and running innovation programmes for global technology leaders. In 2024, the first edition of Llama Design Drive attracted over 200 applications and selected 43 startups across two cohorts in the UAE and Saudi Arabia - working with industry partners including Dubai's RTA, Chalhoub Group, Emirates Airline, Dubai Holding, and MBC Group.

This year's programme focuses on agentic AI: autonomous assistants and chatbots solving real-world problems across mobility, healthcare, education, energy, public services, and retail. The 2025 cohort will culminate at the Llama Summit, where selected startups will showcase their solutions to regional stakeholders and global audiences.
